Mid-Atlantic convenience store chain Sheetz said it will sell E15 at 368 of its stations that offer the blend for $1.99/gal over the U.S. Thanksgiving Day holiday week.

The Altoona, Pa.-based company said Sunday it will begin selling the discounted higher ethanol blend, which it markets as Unleaded 88, from Monday through Nov. 28.

Sheetz said motorists also can take advantage of the promotional E15 price after Nov. 28 by enrolling this week in the My Sheetz Rewardz program using the code FUELUP88. They will receive 500 points within 24 hours of the promotion’s end that can be used for fuel discounts and food and drink purchases in company’s stores, the retailer said.

“Sheetz is a family owned and operated company and we are always looking for way to help the communities we serve,” President and Chief Executive Officer Travis Sheetz said in a news release.

“We are excited to extend this offer to our customers as many of them start hitting the road for the Thanksgiving holiday.”

Sheetz has already had two similar promotions this year.

Shortly after retail gasoline prices hit all-time highs in mid-June, the company priced E15 at $3.99/gal from June 27 to July 4.

In September, it dropped the price of diesel to $4.49/gal from Sept. 5 through Sept. 30 at each of the company’s 654 locations that sell diesel.
